Question about L3 Pilates? Click here
Delivered by Cherry Baker – The Original Creator of Modern Pilates.
If you’re thinking about becoming a Pilates teacher, you’ve probably come across the Level 3 qualification. It’s important — it gives you access to insurance and lets you work where that certification is required. But Level 3 alone won’t give you the depth, confidence, or practical tools to become a successful modern Pilates teacher.
That’s why training with us is different.
Overview
- 8 face-to-face days plus structured online learning — a deeper, more thorough pathway than a basic Level 3.
- Delivered through Registered Training Provider Trained Academy with the Active IQ Level 3 qualification and full student support for theory assessments and LARS completion.
- Slightly longer and a greater investment — but you get a training that prepares you to build a career, not just a certificate.
What we provide
- Comprehensive, clinic-informed manual (we do not rely on the standard Level 3 manual).
- Large exercise library with written notes and video demonstrations, accessible via your personal dashboard.
- Deeper anatomy, biomechanics and movement education rooted in modern, clinically informed Pilates.
- Clear, practical adaptations for common conditions (osteoporosis, low back pain, pelvic health, etc.).
- Ongoing access to the video library and continued support after the course.
Teaching team & approach
- Main tutor: Cherry Baker — over 45 years in the fitness industry, trained with Michael King and Stott Pilates, co-developer of Modern Pilates alongside Christopher Norris and Christine North.
- Trained Academy tutors (including Nicky Simcock and Paula Litherland) deliver guidance and support through level three assessment .
- Guest tutors to give variety in teaching styles and expertise.
- Cherry’s approach: honour the original Pilates principles while applying contemporary, research-based, clinically relevant adaptations for today’s populations.
- Some lectures (e.g., class structure) delivered online; hands-on practical days (posture assessment, hands-on adjustments) are face-to-face with real-life examples and a comprehensive checklist for postural correction.
Why this matters
- You’ll understand why you teach each exercise and how to adapt for real people.
- You’ll gain confidence to set up and run classes, workshops or 1:1 sessions in your community.
- You’ll receive practical tools and clinical reasoning to work safely with common conditions often not covered in depth by a basic Level 3 course.
If you want to teach Pilates with clarity, competence and lasting results, invest in training that gives you depth, support and practical tools to stand out. Invest in learning it the right way — invest in your confidence and your future as a Pilates teacher.
Let’s recap what we offer:
- 8 face‑to‑face days plus structured online learning — a longer, more thorough pathway than a basic Level 3.
- A comprehensive, clinic-informed manual and exercise library you can actually use in classes and 1:1s.
- Video demonstrations and a personal dashboard so you can review material anytime.
- Deeper anatomy, biomechanics and movement education rooted in modern, clinically informed Pilates.
- Clear, practical adaptations for common conditions (osteoporosis, low back pain, pelvic health issues, etc.).
- Ongoing access to video library after the course finishes.
Why it matters
- You’ll understand why you teach each exercise and how to adapt for real people.
- You’ll feel confident setting up and running classes, workshops, or 1:1 sessions in your community.
- You’ll build a career, not just tick a box for insurance.
- Yes, our course is slightly longer; there are 8 face to face days and online learning . And yes, it is more of an investment. You pay cheap you pay twice. Our course will give you a solid foundation to build your career and education.
- But that’s because what you receive goes far, far beyond the basic Level 3!
If your goal is to confidently set up your own Pilates career, to build a reputation in your community, and to genuinely help people move better and feel better, then you need more than the minimum requirement.
You need depth.
You need clarity.
You need support.
Our training provides:
- Face-to-face hours
- Far greater anatomy and movement education
- Clear, practical adaptations for common conditions
- A comprehensive exercise library
You don’t have to rely on memory.
You don’t have to flick through a manual and hope you remember correctly.
Every exercise is supported by written material and video demonstrations, all backed up on your personal dashboard.
This isn’t about ticking a box to get insured.
It’s about becoming a confident, knowledgeable, modern Pilates teacher who stands out.
If you’re serious about doing this properly — about building a career, not just gaining a certificate — then my training will give you the tools to do exactly that.
Invest in learning it the right way.
Invest in your confidence.
Invest in your future as a Pilates teacher.
